I am running for Prairie View City Council Member Position 5 because I believe Prairie View is at a critical moment that requires leadership focused on connection, accountability, and progress.
As the city continues to grow alongside Prairie View A&M University, there is a clear need to strengthen the relationship between city leadership, residents, and the student population.
Too often, these groups operate separately when they should be working together toward a shared vision for the community.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
My commitment to Prairie View is demonstrated through proven leadership, public service, and persistence. Two years ago, I ran for this same seat on the Prairie View City Council and came within one vote of being elected. That experience reinforced my belief that every voice matters and deepened my commitment to serving this community with purpose and accountability. I currently serve as the Student Regent for the Texas A&M University System, a statewide leadership role to which I was appointed by the Governor of Texas. In this capacity, I represent over 165,000 students across 12 universities and 8 state agencies, working alongside system leadership to help shape policy, advocate for student interests, and ensure accountability at one of the largest higher education systems in the nation. This appointment reflects a high level of trust, responsibility, and leadership at the state level. In addition, my work in the Student Government Association has allowed me to advocate for students, collaborate with administrators, and address real issues impacting campus and community life. My leadership has also been recognized publicly, including being featured on Fox 26’s Isiah Factor Uncensored. Beyond titles, my greatest accomplishment has been my consistent presence—engaging with residents, listening to concerns, and working to bridge the gap between the City of Prairie View and Prairie View A&M University. I have remained committed to understanding the challenges facing our community and preparing myself to lead with integrity, transparency, and action. I am not new to service—I have been doing the work, and I am ready to lead.
